Necklace Lengths
Collar (12 - 13") Collar length necklaces lie snug around the middle of the neck
Choker (14 – 16”) Choker length necklaces are both classic and versatile perfectly falling around the base of the neck.
Princess (17 – 19”) Princess length necklaces are the most popular necklace length and can be worn for crew and high necklines and falls at collarbone or just below on most ladies. Bold pendants are often worn as the focal point with this necklace length.
Matinee (20 – 24") Matinee length necklaces are longer than princess but shorter than opera lengths. This length is very versatile as you can wear with almost any collar style and most can wear this length outside a collar or turtleneck.
Opera (28 – 34”) Opera length necklaces, the longest of all lengths, can be worn as a single or double strand. Most can wear this length outside a collar or turtleneck.
Rope (over 45”) The Rope length necklace is a must have accessory. This classic and elegant length necklace can dress up any outfit day or night and can be wrapped around the neck or wrist for a multi-stranded necklace or bracelet.
Bracelets
7" - Standard length.
7.5" - Also a very popular length, especially in larger beads or links with less drape.
8" - Long bracelet.
All JewlBoxStore bracelets are measured from the length from one end of the bracelet to the other end. Be aware that the larger the beads used in a bracelet design, the more snugly the bracelet will fit your wrist.
For example I have small wrists and like to wear 7 ½“ bracelets which fall between my wrist bone and the knuckles of my hand. However, if the bracelet has large beads, the bracelet will fall closer to my wrist bone.
JewlBoxStore bracelets are typically 7 ½” or longer. However any bracelet can be lengthened if requested. See product information for more details.
Not sure how to measure your wrist? There are two methods for obtaining your correct bracelet size. If you fall in between the sizes offered, always order the larger size.
1. Take one of your favorite bracelets at home and measure it from end to end.
OR
2. Measure your wrist with a soft flexible measuring tape. If you do not have a measuring tape, use a ribbon or piece of string. Mark the length and then measure with a ruler.
